Powerful Analysis Tools Include
Market Scanning
Market Scanning using the Distribution Indicator
The Market Analyser has a robust scanning feature, which aims to help you identify trading opportunities among the global markets, a selected Watch List, or an individual stock. You will soon be able to recognise trade set-ups in a matter of seconds, using the system's industry-standard indicators, the Pre-Alerts or your own custom-designed indicators, which can be created using our Analyser Wizard.
Custom Indicator Design
Simplicity with indicator creation is what is unique about the Market Analyser's Analyser Wizard and Price Pattern Editor. Through a few simple mouse clicks you are able to combine multiple search techniques into the one indicator, whilst specifying a time range over which the rule returned true. This is particularly important as some rules may trigger earlier alerts than others, in which case you may then like to apply a slower alert signal as a filter to help pinpoint the correct entry point. As well as being able to use a variety of traditional indicators you also have access to our Price Pattern Editor, a feature unique to the Market Analyser that enables you to arrange OHLC data into a specific price pattern or formation. The software will then output a formula and create an indicator for you to use in the Market Scanning module; or, alternatively, you may like to combine a Price Pattern Indicator with another rule using the Analyser Wizard.
Back Testing
Before you invest real money in the market, test your entry rule by adding an exit criteria and a stop loss. Your complete trading strategy can then be run in the Back Tester across 20 years of historical data, to ensure you have an accurate indication of your system's past performance. Set your simulated bank balance and you will soon know important statistical information such as total profit return, % gain vs loss, number of winning trades vs losing trades, average win vs loss size, average number of days in win vs loss positions, greatest % draw down on capital, plus many other important statistics to validate your trading ideas.
